Starting in 1975 Mark
Whisler was a pioneer in Sacramento's Gay Community. He was one of the first
advertisers in "Mom Guess What", Sacramento's first Gay and
Lesbian publication, in 1976 when it was still dangerous to be held as openly
gay or gay friendly. (He got daily hate calls for a year or more before they
stopped from his advertisements). Since then large parts of society have
undergone enormous shifts in how they treat gay people and that's great. However, when choosing a Realtor to work with many Gay and Lesbians still prefer to work with someone who understands their concerns about holding title, loan processing, shared ownership, neighborhood compatibility, etc. Besides providing Realtor services at the highest professional level, we are caring, committed, active and hardworking in the progressive and gay communities.
